Who is Hemi?
Hemi is an innovative and specialized clinic that connects you with leading specialists in the treatment of headaches, migraines, concussions and whiplash. We have physical clinics in Frederiksberg, Middelfart and Aarhus, and large parts of our service are done digitally, so we can help you no matter where you are in the country. In the Hemi app you can easily get in touch with our specialists via video consultations and record your symptoms in a digital diary.
Can I use Hemi through my insurance?
Yes, we work with several insurance companies. A referral from your doctor is required, and the insurance must approve the treatment with us before you can book an appointment. Please contact us for guidance regarding your insurance.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly with Hemi without a referral.
What can Hemi help me with?
At Hemi, we offer specialized assessment and treatment for both children and adults with headaches and related disorders. We treat a wide range of primary and secondary headache disorders, including migraine, migraine with aura, tension headache, medication overuse headache (MOH), posttraumatic headache, cluster headache (GON-blokade), facial pain (trigeminus neuralgia), and undefined headache.
In addition, we also treat headaches and symptoms caused by trauma, such as whiplash and hjernerystelse.
Treatment of children is handled by one of our headache specialists, who is also a specialist in pediatrics, ensuring safe, targeted and competent treatment adapted to the special needs of children.
