Treatment with anti-nausea medication
Anti-nausea medication is taken during a migraine attack if you experience severe nausea or vomiting. Some patients experience intense nausea and vomiting as part of their migraine attack. In some cases, it is so severe that it is difficult to take migraine abortive medication. In such cases, it may be an option to take anti-nausea medication 20 minutes before or together with the migraine medication.

Metoclopramide
Metoclopramide works by accelerating the emptying of the stomach and increasing motility throughout the intestinal tract. It also affects receptors in the brain that suppress nausea and vomiting.
Common side effects include drowsiness and diarrhea.
Metoclopramide tablets are 10 mg; you may take a maximum of 3 tablets per day, with at least 6 hours between each dose.
Domperidone
Domperidone 10 mg tablets.
Domperidone 30 mg suppositories.
Ondansetron
Ondansetron 4 mg or 8 mg tablets.
